Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe managed to slip by Mt. Pleasant the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 12-0 to the Tigers on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 12 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Santa Fe and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, they moved to 4-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While Santa Fe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
