After losing to Jones the last time they met, Von Steuben decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Eagles on their court since March 25, 2022.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Von Steuben who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-15.

Von Steuben's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Jones, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Von Steuben will take on Lincoln Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jones, they will square off against Kenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
