Soccer Recap: Gering Comes Up Short

Gering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Torrington Trailblazers, falling 5-1. Gering were not able to make up for their loss to Torrington from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Gering's goal came courtesy of Jayden Hakert, which was the first he's scored this season.

Gering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Torrington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gering will square off against Newcastle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Torrington, they will face off against Worland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
