Basketball Recap: New Salem Takes a Loss

New Salem lost against Standing Rock back in March of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New Salem Holsteins fell 64-57 to the Standing Rock Warriors. The Holsteins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Standing Rock, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

New Salem will face off against Center-Stanton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. New Salem is facing Center-Stanton at the right time seeing as Center-Stanton is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Standing Rock, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-53 win against Watford City on the 31st.
