Football Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce lost against Kansas back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 27-14 to the Comets. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kansas, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Commerce will take on rival Wyandotte at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Kansas is set to face off against their familiar foe Salina at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
