Softball Recap: Costa Mesa Takes a Loss

Costa Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 21-10 to the Westminster Lions.

Analeah Vaca made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Victoria Rios was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Costa Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Westminster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Costa Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Tustin on the 4th. As for Westminster, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Santa Ana on the 4th.
