Volleyball Game Preview: Magna Vista Warriors vs. Bassett Bengals + Official Tickets

The Magna Vista Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Bassett Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Magna Vista didn't have quite enough to beat Tunstall and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Bassett didn't have quite enough to beat Mecklenburg County on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Bassett took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Magna Vista has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Bassett, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything went Magna Vista's way against Bassett in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Magna Vista made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
