Crivitz hadn't done well against Peshtigo recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wolverines skirted past the Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Marli Meyers paced Crivitz's offense, picking up nine kills. Meyers got some help from Hattie Frievalt and her 15 assists. Meyers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Crivitz's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Peshtigo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-13 record this season.

Crivitz has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on the 18th. As for Peshtigo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sheboygan Christian on the 18th.
