Volleyball Recap: St. Clair Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. James on Thursday, St. Clair came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Waynesville Tigers on Saturday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Kylee Brandt paced St. Clair's offense, picking up eight kills. Brandt got some help from Addy DeClue and her 12 assists. Finally, Emma Talleur kept St. Clair's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Waynesville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-9-3.

St. Clair has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Rolla on the 11th. As for Waynesville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Osage on the 13th.
