Soccer Game Preview: Classical vs. Trinity Academy

Classical hasn't had much luck against Trinity Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Knights at 6:30 p.m. Classical has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Classical came up short against Circle on Tuesday, falling 6-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Classical were already down 5-0.

Meanwhile, Trinity Academy's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Heights a 4-0 shutout. Considering Trinity Academy's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Heights with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Trinity Bonitati, Abby Diefenderfer, Madison Babb, and Joley Henderson.

Trinity Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Classical might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Trinity Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Saints avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
