El Capitan's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Golden Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Everything went El Capitan's way against Golden Valley when the teams last played two weeks ago, as El Capitan made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gauchos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
