Basketball Recap: Austwell-Tivoli Find Success

Austwell-Tivoli's game back in November was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 victory over the Corpus Christi United Watchmen. This was a revenge game for the Redfish: when they faced off against the Watchmen back in November, they had to take a 68-44 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Corpus Christi United lost, don't look at Josh Lindsey. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 boards. The game was Lindsey's seventh in a row with at least ten points.

Austwell-Tivoli now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Corpus Christi United, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-7.
