Basketball Recap: Hampton Prep Takes a Loss

Hampton Prep lost to Ranchview back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hampton Prep was beaten by Ranchview 62-7. The matchup marked Hampton Prep's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hampton Prep's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ranchview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Hampton Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Hills Prep at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Ranchview, they will venture away from home to square off against Williams Prep at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
