Evangel Christian Academy won the last time they faced Deer Trail and things went their way on Saturday too. Evangel Christian Academy put the hurt on Deer Trail with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Evangel Christian Academy.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Evangel Christian Academy took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-10.

Bailey Roberts went supernova, getting eight digs and six aces.

Roberts wasn't the only good servers: Evangel Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deer Trail only served four.

Evangel Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Deer Trail, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Evangel Christian Academy will challenge Fountain Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deer Trail, after both having extra time off, they and Briggsdale will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
