It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Penfield ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Victor Blue Devils, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Penfield were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Hannah D'Imperio, who's now up to two this season.

Penfield now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Victor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Penfield and Victor will both be playing Rush-Henrietta the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will head out to face the Royal Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Blue Devils will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
