Baseball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Lawrence Seminary last Monday, Omro came back down to earth. The Foxes fell 6-2 to the Laconia Spartans on Tuesday. The Foxes haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Omro saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Frye, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Omro now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Laconia, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

While Omro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
