Soccer Game Preview: Temple City vs. Pasadena

The Temple City Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Pasadena Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Pasadena took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Temple City, who comes in off a win.

While Temple City fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They put the hurt on Burbank with a sharp 5-0 win on Tuesday. Temple City better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Azalea Mata, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pasadena's offense. They fell just short of La Canada by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Pasadena have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Temple City took their victory against Pasadena in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
