Baseball Recap: SouthLake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

SouthLake Christian Academy lost against Carmel Christian back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles fell 12-7 to the Carmel Christian Cougars. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

SouthLake Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Broadway, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and four RBI.

SouthLake Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carmel Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, SouthLake Christian Academy will challenge Providence Day at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Providence Day's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so SouthLake Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Carmel Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Charlotte Country Day School at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Carmel Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
