Softball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short

Westover fell victim to Western Harnett and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Western Harnett Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Western Harnett, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Westover has already played their next match, a 15-0 loss against Jack Britt on the 19th. As for Western Harnett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Pinecrest on the 19th.
