Basketball Game Preview: Manila Lions vs. Osceola Seminoles

Manila and Osceola are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Manila Lions will host the Osceola Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Manila's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.

Last Monday, Manila was able to grind out a solid win over Cedar Ridge, taking the game 58-49.

Meanwhile, Osceola suffered their closest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of Rivercrest by a score of 59-57.

Manila pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.9 points. As for Osceola, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything came up roses for Manila against Osceola when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 65-30 win. Does Manila have another victory up their sleeve, or will Osceola turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
