Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Heritage Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Belleview Christian Bruins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Heritage Christian was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-9.

Heritage Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kristin Osborne, who hit 100% for five kills and seven aces and six digs. Osborne has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Heritage Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in six consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Belleview Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anessa Schanke had 11 assists and four digs.

Heritage Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Belleview Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian will head out on the road to face off against Golden View Classical Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belleview Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Evangel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.
