Softball Game Preview: L'Anse Creuse Lancers vs. Algonac Muskrats

The L'Anse Creuse Lancers will take on the Algonac Muskrats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

L'Anse Creuse lost 10-2 to L'Anse Creuse North on Wednesday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Algonac got the win against Croswell-Lexington on Tuesday by a conclusive 13-2. The Muskrats haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Morgan Reams was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Kenel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

L'Anse Creuse's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Algonac, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
