Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-24 loss at the hands of the Monroe Hornets. The match marked the Mohawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Madison's record is now 1-13. As for Monroe, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Madison will take on Eaton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Eaton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Madison likes a good challenge. As for Monroe, they will face off against Ross at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ross will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
