Basketball Recap: San Fernando Takes a Loss

After flying high against Canoga Park last Monday, San Fernando came back down to earth. The San Fernando Tigers lost to the Kennedy Cougars at home by a 58-41 margin on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-44 two weeks ago.

San Fernando's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Kennedy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Fernando and Sylmar will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for Kennedy, they and Van Nuys will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played.
