Basketball Recap: East Mountain Finds Home Court Redemption Against Cottonwood Classical Prep

There's no place like home for East Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes by a score of 58-47 on Saturday. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 48-44 win the Coyotes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

East Mountain's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-7. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cuba the next time they take the court. East Mountain will host Cuba at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cottonwood Classical Prep will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
