Soccer Recap: Cloverleaf Gets the Win

Cloverleaf barely beat Field the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colts' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Cloverleaf might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Hannah Hopek and Abby Plowman scored all three of Cloverleaf's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Cloverleaf now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Cloverleaf has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Carrollton on the 20th. As for Field, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Revere on the 18th.
