Laguna Beach extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They came out on top against the Dana Hills Dolphins by a score of 49-40. That's more bragging rights for the Breakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laguna Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Hurst, who threw for 397 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt. Those 397 passing yards gave Hurst a new career-high. Grant Regal did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 143 receiving yards.

Laguna Beach and Dana Hills should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Breakers will take on Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (38 vs. 206). Meanwhile, Dana Hills (ranked 41st) will meet Northwood (ranked 366th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
