Basketball Recap: Fullerton Comes Up Short

Fullerton was the 53-39 winner over La Serna when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 48-37 to the Lancers on Wednesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Fullerton saw an underclassman step up: freshman Braxton Wink shot 45% from the field on his way to 12 points and five assists. Luka M Serratos was another key player, putting up three points and five boards.

Fullerton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for La Serna, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fullerton will be taking part in a tournament against Poly at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for La Serna, they will take on Ontario Christian in a tournament on Friday.
