Baseball Recap: Muleshoe Takes a Loss

Muleshoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dimmitt Bobcats. The Mules were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 12-11.

Ryan Dominguez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Muleshoe's record now sits at 10-12. As for Dimmitt, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Muleshoe will square off against rival Shallowater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dimmitt is set to take on their familiar foe Littlefield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
