Soccer Recap: Nimitz Comes Up Short

Nimitz's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Spring Lions, falling 3-0. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Nimitz is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-2. As for Spring, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Nimitz face off against the Dekaney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dekaney's last eight games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Spring, they will square off against Aldine at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
