Basketball Recap: Belleville East Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Belleville East hadn't done well against East St. Louis recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Belleville East Lancers secured a 60-54 W over the East St. Louis Flyers. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Flyers back in January, they had to take a 63-45 defeat.

Despite the loss, East St. Louis still got an impressive performance from Montreal Stacker, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 17 points. Alex Johnson was another key player, going 7-for-15 en route to 14 points and six rebounds.
