League recap: Pinellas Park tops Northeast to extend winning streak

Pinellas Park extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 9 this week by beating Northeast, 56-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

Pinellas Park took down the Vikings 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Pierre Johnson ran for 199 yards and caught 2 passes for 46 yards in the win.

Kenneth Crawford's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Angel Addison threw for 112 and 2 touchdowns and Johnson had 46 yards receiving. On the ground Johnson contributed 199 yards. Nate Demint helped Pinellas Park's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.

The Patriots' dynamic duo of Addison and Johnson proved tough for Northeast to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Demint helped Pinellas Park's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.

Johnson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pinellas Park topped Michael Jalazo's team.

Countryside's Robby Hicks and Slyvester Kimbrough have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hicks has thrown for 572 yards this season, while Kimbrough has 16 catches for 237 yards. The Patriots' Johnson leads the league in rushing yards with 715.
