Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Greenwood Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since August 21st on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Indy Genesis HomeSchool Indy Genesis. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indy Genesis apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-16.

Addie Smith paced Greenwood Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Evie Satre and her nine assists. Izzy Snell and Kate Reed kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Greenwood Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3-1.

Greenwood Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the 11th. Indy Genesis HomeSchool has also already played their next game (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
