Basketball Recap: Shead Comes Up Short

Shead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to the Jonesport-Beals Royals on the road by a 53-39 margin. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 60-42 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jonesport-Beals, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shead will welcome Calais at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jonesport-Beals, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Narraguagus at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
