Basketball Recap: Central's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Central lost against Farmington back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Central Tigers fell 45-38 to the Farmington Knights. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Knights are ranked 115th).

Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brooklynn Moss, who posted 11 points. Jamie Dawson-Ide was another key player, putting up ten points.

Central's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-16. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Central nor Farmington have any future games scheduled.
