Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. East Central

The Johnson Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the East Central Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Johnson is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Clemens on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, East Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to Canyon.

Johnson's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-1. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Johnson got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against East Central by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
