Baseball Recap: Douglas County West Gets the Win

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Douglas County West ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raymond Central Mustangs, sneaking past 5-4. The Falcon haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Kelan Bohlen was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Douglas County West's record is now 5-8. As for Raymond Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Douglas County West will square off against rival Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Raymond Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Louisville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
