Fort Zumwalt West's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Grain Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Fort Zumwalt West has already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Troy-Buchanan on the 22nd. As for Grain Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Ruskin on the 21st.
