Volleyball Recap: Sutton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Blackstone-Millville + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Sutton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Blackstone-Millville Chargers on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Sammies/Suzies haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sutton was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Blackstone-Millville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Millette, who had ten digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Kotsianas, who had nine digs and one assist.

Sutton's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Blackstone-Millville, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sutton will head out to square off against Douglas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will venture away from home to take on Burncoat at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
