Softball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton lost against Governor Livingston back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Governor Livingston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dayton will face off against rival Cranford at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Governor Livingston is set to challenge their familiar foe Johnson at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
