Baseball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

After flying high against Summers County on Friday, Scott came back down to earth. The Scott Skyhawks took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shady Spring Tigers on Saturday.

Jason Ferrell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Scott dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Scott will head out to take on WestSide at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shady Spring, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Shady Spring Tigers duke it out with Clay County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
