Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Folsom's Winning Streak

Folsom and Harker squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Folsom had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Folsom may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

Neelagreev Chintaluri and Parker Dison certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chintaluri had 27 assists and three digs, while Dison had nine kills and six digs. Chintaluri has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more assists the last four times he's played. Bhargavram Chintaluri also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Folsom's loss dropped their record down to 31-10. As for Harker, they pushed their record up to 26-8 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harker, they will face off against Clovis East at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
