Soccer Game Preview: Southwest vs. Westland Hialeah

The Southwest Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Westland Hialeah Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westland Hialeah took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Southwest, who comes in off a win.

Southwest is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Sunset a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Westland Hialeah's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of South Miami by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westland Hialeah's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Southwest, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.

Southwest was able to grind out a solid victory over Westland Hialeah when the teams last played back in January of 2021, winning 2-0. Does Southwest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westland Hialeah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
