Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Griffith

Griffith had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rensselaer Central Bombers.

Griffith had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-15.

Saniya Harper paced Griffith's offense, picking up 11 kills. Harper got some help from Kaelin Bergdahl and her ten assists. Bergdahl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Emily Louck and Rylie Moore certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Louck had 11 digs and three aces, while Moore had 20 assists and three digs.

Griffith now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Rensselaer Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Griffith didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Whiting on the 8th. As for Rensselaer Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Frontier on the 9th.
