Basketball Recap: Huntsville Comes Up Short

Huntsville lost against La Vega back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Rih Kinsey was nothing short of spectacular for La Vega: she shot 67% from the field en route to 30 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kimora Harbert, who posted six points.

Huntsville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for La Vega, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Huntsville will host Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Vega, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brennan at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th.
