Softball Recap: Harpeth Takes a Loss

Harpeth fell victim to Houston County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Fighting Irish: they've now lost three in a row.

Harpeth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyndall Threet, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Harpeth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Houston County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Harpeth is taking a road trip to square off against Fairview at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Houston County has already played their next contest (against Christian Academy of Knoxville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
