Basketball Recap: Carrier Mills-Stonefort Comes Up Short

Carrier Mills-Stonefort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Gallatin County Hawks 71-39. The Wildcats lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-46 score last time.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Gallatin County, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carrier Mills-Stonefort will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gallatin County at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. Gallatin County has already played their next matchup (against Hardin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
