Volleyball Recap: Basis Independent Silicon Valley Takes a Loss

Basis Independent Silicon Valley lost against Leigh back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Leigh Longhorns. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 27-25.

Basis Independent Silicon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Leigh, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will venture away from home to face off against Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leigh, they are taking a road trip to challenge Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Silver Creek: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Leigh has snatched up ten consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
