Thayer Central waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the H&H Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Thayer Central took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-14.

Leah Havel paced Thayer Central's offense, picking up 15 kills. Havel got some help from Olivia Wiedel and her 31 assists. Finally, Piper Havel kept Thayer Central's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Thayer Central's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for H&H, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
