Soccer Recap: Concord Christian Plays to a Tie

Concord Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. Neither they nor the Sequatchie County Indians could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

John (Harvey) Scott was the only thing that stood between Concord Christian and a shutout considering he scored both of Concord Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

With that draw, Concord Christian's record moves to 2-0-2. As for Sequatchie County, they moved theirs to 3-1-2.

Concord Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Smith County on the 29th. Sequatchie County has also already played their next matchup (against Jackson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
